Bio

Ali Saffari is a distinguished MBA graduate of the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine. Prior to business school, Ali has accumulated over ten years of teaching experience, and is working closely with Peter Navarro to develop the latest in academic content. Ali has also conducted educational research in a variety of fields, including healthcare, real estate, finance, information technology, and economics.

At UC Irvine, Ali served as the President of the Merage Student Association, developing stronger connections between the student body and faculty through targeted engagement channels designed to strengthen professional development at the university. He also served as the Ambassador of the Center for Global Leadership, working with local community groups including Team Kids and Second Harvest Food Bank, as well as participating in leadership development through the Executive Mentorship program and Dean’s Advisory Board.

Upon graduation, Ali received the Paul and Lilly Merage Visionary award, given to the single MBA graduate selected by the school’s founder and Dean whom best represents the ideals of the Paul Merage School of Business and its namesake: “Vision, Innovation, and Philanthropy”. Ali is now developing a joint effort between corporate partners, alumni, and faculty to facilitate sustainable developing of the Merage school to become a best-in-class organization, leveraging its domestic and international ties to the business community.

Ali holds a Global Strategy Analyst role at Experian plc, collaborating with executive sponsors to design global cross-sell initiatives, as well as establishing internal innovation programs to foster high-growth environments identified by business unit leadership teams.
