Dr. Terry K. Talley

Bio

Dr. Talley holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in science from the Mississippi University for Women and an Ed.D. in Curriculum, Instruction and Administration from the University of North Texas. Dr. Talley joined the SRT-STEM center as Program Director for Education Outreach upon her retirement with 20 years in public education. Terry’s career began as a secondary science teacher working with students in grades 6-9 for 14 years. She later served as Dean of Instruction, science teacher specialist and eventually supervisor for science in two large north Texas Independent School Districts. Dr. Terry Talley held a position as instructor in the College of Education at the University of North Texas. At Rice University, Dr. Talley is providing her STEM Curriculum & Instruction expertise to the STEMscopes: NGSS PreK-12 online curricula writing team.
