Tara Sklar

Bio

Tara Sklar is the Co-Director for Ageing Programs at The University of Melbourne and a Research Fellow with the Public Health and Law Unit at the Centre for Health Policy within the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health. Prior to this she served as the inaugural Director of Access and Community Health for Carondelet Health Network in the southwest United States where she worked on community collaborations between health care providers, social service agencies, and faith based organisations to provide healthy ageing programs and services. She graduated with honours from Tulane University and has a dual degree Doctor of Jurisprudence / Master of Public Health from the University of Texas and the University of Houston. Her current research focuses on ageing practitioners and career transitions.
