Bio

I have been a faculty member at Rutgers since 2010, and am currently director of the General Chemistry program and the graduate program in Computational Biology and Molecular Biophysics. I received my Ph.D. at UNC-Chapel Hill, and did postdoctoral work at Duke, Harvard, and ULP in Strasbourg, France. My research aims to develop and apply new multiscale modeling tools to understand the mechanisms of biocatalysis, and gain insight that will enable the rational design of new biotechnology. ...and my pathway through science all started with my first general chemistry class!
