good course, however, it was almost impossible to figure out how to do some of the assignments. I have no idea how to do PDF files. Although, I learned some of the key concepts easily.

I like the way what we have learned in this course. The material, concepts & professors. The only issue is with the platform, in the referenced reading, we have to buy all this books?

It was a great interactive course, mostly in the homework and feedback. Otherwise, the technical information in the course is not new to me as an architect.

The lectures are very good, and you don't really need to worry about getting a bad grade, because as long as you make some sense you will pass.

The best part of this course is the great teachers; they are very knowledgeable and with plenty of experience on the subject. Also, the material is very interesting, covers a wide array of ideas, and the presentations provide plenty of examples from around the world to learn from. A few downsides: a) sometimes the lessons were not very structured, more like a narrative, so at times it was hard to identify the key takeaways. b) the assignments were a bit easy, so I did not feel very challenged. c) I took this course in 2014 and again in 2017. I did not like the fact that the assignment feedback was the same recording from 2014.

Except the peer review system, i liked the course.
After all, a student from one country cannot judge the situation of a city in another country.

Interesting course showing the complexity and enormous task of the responsibilities involved to accommodate to the well-being of millions of people. People, being a most difficult and stubborn species to please.

The content was interesting but many of the videos had poor sound quality and were badly edited. It would have been better if the course also had mini quizzes to consolidate learning

The model is more of a webinar. Readings are not given by the lecturers. I would recommend not paying for it. Info is good but superficial. Maybe as an introduction to urbanism.

Very good introduction to the topic but often superficial when it comes to actual strategies and projects.

It is a good course if you have very little knowledge of Urban Planning, otherwise it might be too simple, however some of the extra material might be useful.

I think content is too long, it could be better summarized... and some of the lectures has a voice that makes us turn back to listen again due to don't understandable words and phrases. Usually I take a short time to finish courses but this one was the first I subscribed and I could just finish months later, thanks to the absence of dynamism, sort of "boring" methodology if you compare to other courses of coursera. Stefan is a lecturer who is objective and speaks 'understandable', the others we know that are authorities and pretty intelligent, but the classes are not good.

Not sure why this course is time-based when the material can be accessed at any time. Shouldn't it be on demand, as in one's own time?
Lecturers not participating in discussions at all.
Lecturers very boring and un-engaging.
