Hi, Chuck here, we are in Buckhead in Northern Atlanta.
We had a great Office Hours.
And I'd like you to meet, as is traditional,
some of the fellow students with you in your classes.
So say, hi, say your name.
Wait till it points at you, yeah.
>> Hi, I'm Morgan, I'm from Atlanta and I took the class with my dad here,
because he asked me to, but it was also fun.
>> And I'm Jack, and I took the class with my daughter, of course, for the Symmetry.
And we had a great time, and your teaching is awesome.
>> Thank you.
>> I'm Tom from Atlanta, and I thought Python would be fun.
Monty Python.
>> Yeah. >> And after a long career in computers,
I kind of figured that it's time to learn something besides assembler.
>> There you go.
But actually you can do everything you need to do with assembler.
>> Hey, my name is Joe Contreras.
I'm an electrical engineer from Georgia Tech, wanting to-
>> Cool.
>> Yeah, wanting to explode on the scene, on the CS scene, and
this class is awesome.
It is [SOUND] two thumbs up.
>> Well, cool.
I flunked out of electrical engineering.
>> Wow.
>> So that's why I'm a computer scientist.
So you should fine.
>> Wow.
>> My dad was an electrical engineer, and so in family that's how you work, cool.
And I couldn't do electrical engineering, so I flunked out and
I became a computer scientist.
So if you're doing fine in electrical engineering,
I hope you do fine in computer science.
>> [LAUGH] >> Hi, I'm David, I live here in Atlanta,
and I took the Python class.
It was my first Coursera class.
It was quite enjoyable, well-taught.
I enjoyed it.
>> Thank you.
>> Hi, my name it Lucy, I'm from Brazil.
I'll take pom-pom classes.
And I think it would be a good start.
>> Thank you, Lucy.
>> Thank you.
>> Hi, I'm Sonia,
I'm a cognitive science graduate student at Georgia State University.
I took Dr. Chuck's class, and it is awesome, and I want to learn more now.
[LAUGH] >> Yeah,
cognitive science is what it's actually all about, really.
>> Yeah. >> If you think about it.
>> Hey, I'm Alex.
I'm from Atlanta and Beirut Sonia got me into this,
I'm also into doing cognitive science.
I'll be honest, I haven't taken any of the lessons yet, but and my experience in
programming isn't pretty rough, but now I have all the more reason to dive into it.
>> Cool.
