So let's get to work now. Some of the key words that govern the mindset of this journey are humility, engagement, collaboration, trust, respect, authenticity, confidence, knowledge, creativity, sense and responsibility. Do you recognize yourself in them? You can now click on the words which resonate with you. Great. You've joined the growing pool of many hundreds of participants that have already committed to being involved in this leadership journey. See the words they have chosen the most. You can see that you are not alone in this adventure. Many other people like you coming from all over the world are eager to connect and interact to grow their leadership skills. Use the map to position yourself so we can build your learning community. You will from now on have a fantastic opportunity to exchange and share your ideas and perceptions with all the people as the program unfolds. So all right, now you need to prepare yourself for the challenges ahead. Challenges that will take you through exercises, series of steps, and moments of learning and testing. You need to be ready to give and deliver, because as the phrase goes, garbage in, garbage out. Which means that the more you give, the more you receive. So give your best and you'll receive more. The methodology we will use to develop your leadership is based on a pedagogy that has been tested over the past 20 years. It's called the ACE methodology, like an ACE in tennis. The A stands for analytical and refers to the knowledge, the theory you will require as you go. The E stands for experience. The practice of the skills through exercises, assessments and peer reviews that will help you test your knowledge, put it in practice and shape your learning. And the C, in between, stands for critical. That is your capacity to reflect on yourself and make a link between the A and the E, learning as you grow your self-awareness. Our shared goals in this adventure involve first and foremost your personal leadership development, your capacity to engage others and drive positive change. By sharing with others, you will confront your own views and see different perspectives. You will learn about yourself, meaning grow your self-awareness, you will learn to give and receive feedback that is grow your open mindedness. You will find your personal leadership style and grow your relational skills. And finally, You will learn to communicate effectively and grow your sensible skills, your listening and observing skills, with care and intensity of attention, As Warren Bennis phrased it in his book on becoming a leader. Now I trust you're curious to share and compare your experiences and views on leadership, so as to carve your own path as you would a sculpture. This is the image you need to have in your mind as you go forward. You're crafting your future, your style, your way of being and acting in the choices you make and directions you take for yourself and with others. And we, together, are going to place leadership on trial to reinvent our own new form of leadership. One that you will craft, so as to become tomorrow's crafters. Can you think of the word that could replace the word leadership? As you see it right now, a word like crafter to replace leader. Write it in your SR journal, as well as in the box on your screen. By the way, you must know that this journey will take you outside of your comfort zone. In areas of uncertainty and unknown futures. So you will test your capacity to open up and adapt to different settings and people, with sometimes opposite and diverging views and ideas. You will learn to observe and listen more effectively, and to focus your attention on what matters. The intensity of your attention will drive your success. And in the meantime, here are four tips to frame the mindset, which will help you get the best out of this experience. First, don't expect answers, second, learn to ask questions third, embrace uncertainty, and fourth, accept the fact that you don't know. In our next episode, you will hear and see what some of your predecessor's who have gone through the Savoir-Relier leadership journey have done and said about this new approach to your leadership development.
