Do you still remember the interview questions?
>> 你以前教过英语吗? 为什么你觉得自己适合做老师?
如果小朋友没听懂,你会怎么办呢?
你还有别的优点吗? 说说你打算怎么教?
如果明天就上课,你能来吗?
>> Are you ready
to face the interview questions?
Can you answer these questions properly?
Let's look at how Mark replies. >> 你以前教过英语吗?>>
我教过很多中国小朋友 而且很喜欢做老师。 >> The interviewer
asked have you ever taught English?
过 can be used here.
你以前教过英语吗? 过 indicates a past experience.
If you want to describe the past experience,
过 can be placed after the verb.
>> 为什么你觉得自己适合做老师?>> 我的发音很标准。
说得很慢,小朋友都能听懂。 >> What do you
think you can suited to be a teacher?
Mark replied, because his English pronunciation is clear and
slow, in this case, resultative complements can be used.
A resultative complement can be either a result verb or an adjective.
And it is placed immediately after the main verb.
Resultative complements can occur in a narrative expository and
evaluate sentence, but not in descriptive sentences.
小朋友都能听懂。
In this sentence, Mark uses 听懂, which means understand.
听 is a verb, which means listen.
懂 means understand; the result of listening is understanding.
That's why 懂 as a resultative complement is placed after 听.

What is Mark's reply?
Is this answer the same as yours?

How would you reply? >> 你还有别的优点吗?>> 我很幽默。

我有很多优点。
马克有什么优点? 对,他很幽默。
