And then when we have the appearance of the galaxies
beginning something like a billion years after the origin of the universe.
This period of galactic formation will never happen again and
even now there are no new galaxies forming.
So, you get the sense then of a story.
We're going from one era to another.
And what's interesting, the last comment on this would be
that each era actually gives rise to the next era,
in that it makes possible a new form of creativity.
So the plasma as it cooled
it opened up the potential for the formation of atoms.
So the plasma actually came to an end and enabled the atoms to come forth.
And likewise with the era of hydrogen and helium, it was the mutual
attraction between the hydrogen and helium that brought forth the galaxies.
