Dr Rebecca Kippen is a Senior Research Fellow in the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health at the University of Melbourne. Since the late 1990s, her work in demography on population age structures, migration and fertility has been highly influential in public debate both in Australia and internationally. Her current research interests include projecting long-term demand for health services in the context of population ageing, awareness of cancer risk factors, and the historical demography of Australia.
