Para quién es esta clase: This course is for people interested in learning an alternative to the Frequentist approach that is typically taught in statistics classes. The course covers both concepts and basic computing, and so it is applicable both to people doing data analysis as well as people who read the analysis of others, such as decision makers. This course expects that learners have previous exposure to statistics at the introductory level or higher, and previous exposure to calculus. In both cases, the expectation is that concepts have been seen previously, possibly many years earlier, but that the details may have been forgotten.

This class is very much an intro, so if you're looking for advanced topics you it might not be challenging. But this is a really good intro. The lectures are good and the supplemented material is great. I wish there was more R, but I'm very happy with the class.

The lectures were good, but I hope more background materials can be released. Understanding the topics needs a relative solid mathematical background. Although having completed the course, I am still confused about some concepts in this course.

This is my first course on Coursera and I am delighted by the construction, how it was led by the instructor and what I learned. Quizzez are great, I spent on some quite a bit of time, but I feel they really checked if I understand the concepts and calculations. The questions during the video are also an excellent idea to check if you follow. All in all I am very happy I took this course!

The course is excellent to learn all the basic stuff needed to master the technique of Bayesian Data Analysis.
