Fantastic course. I really enjoyed the interviews with industry experts. They were extremely insightful. The exercises and assignments were super useful and the templates made it easy to get started.

I really enjoyed this course because it was a good balance between the lectures and assignments. Doing the assignments not only helped me increase my confidence but also helped me expand my thinking.

Pros: new, necessary and interesting knowledge.

Cons: information is very poorly structured, tests are very unevenly distributed (there are no tests at all in the first week, and five at once in the second), a lot of unnecessary and side from the “I like to talk” series. I got the knowledge - thanks, but I will not take the continuation.

This course was a really great starting point for a new PM. However, it focused entirely too much on business and marketing tactics and concepts rather than the skills and knowledge a PM must use in their role. I would like to see more practical applications of these concepts in a future course.

Having no business background this course was interesting and I learned a lot about product management. There was a good amount of information and vocabulary that I had to look up though. I would have preferred to take a general business class before taking this one.

A bit too basic if you're not completely new to PM/ have a business background. I agree with the other reviews of 1 and 2 starts in terms of the content delivery, but overall it is an ok course to revise somes concepts.

Good course in terms of topics & graded assignments. Although it lacked few resources like summary/notes of a number of videos (especially where a new topic is introduced) which could have been helpful to refer to.

This way a pretty good high level overview of some of the key principles of Product Management. My favorite part was doing the Competitive Analysis because I feel like I really benefited a lot from that.

1. Good overview about what PM is about

2. See One, Do One is not enough. I wish instructor can also make personal feedback on the assignments submitted and not just let peers do the evaluation.

Achei um curso um pouco superficial no sentido de que tudo era superficialmente explicado e depois você já tinha que fazer uma atividade um pouco mais complicada do que o que foi ensinado.

You can enjoy but it can be very stressful as it can get confusing at times. I hate the fact that it doesn't give you a certificate upon completion even though I paid.

The course can be more structured with better visuals and better delivery. Use more graphics during videos.

About the activities. The activities are interesting and challenging. However, the guidance provided for them is sometimes lacking (for example, for the “persona” activity, I used a personal template from my professional experience). The course could do better in exposing the students to templates and tools they can actually use professionally. About the quizzes. The quizzes are a complete shame. Many questions are just “tricky” with double negatives prompts or other confusing styles. Many others reference companies and services which may be popular in the US but are not for people from other countries / cultures as myself so I had to google companies to understand what they do and if they’re actually competitors of some other random campany named. This could be easily overcome by adding a description rather than just names or at least the links to the sites. Another big issue with the quizzes is that some questions reference material which is not actually part of the presentation or the readings, and, in general, many questions are just pointless. While the activities are challenging, the quizzes are just unfair and poorly curated. The questions are not well phrased, the corrected answers do not provide an opportunity to actually learn from the mistakes, etc. I’d re-do all quizzes for this course. About the trainer. While the trainer (Nancy) is nice and seems knowledgeable, she does not make her narrative engaging enough, she does not look directly at the camera and seems to be reading from a script. Her screen is shown very small (only sometimes) and there are not supporting slides or visuals and recaps to truly support the concepts being presented. About the “interviews”. The interviews / videos with other PMs or subject matter experts were very uninteresting and low quality. Please remove such content and focus on sharing higher quality contents and tools.

I have found this course really quite frustrating. While the content is interesting, the questions do not clearly correspond to the sessions and so finding the correct answers is really difficult as the course doesn't give you the tools to answer your own questions. I have even been taking notes and reflecting on the transcripts to make sure I didn't miss an answer somewhere. I even had one failure because of a technical error not an incorrect answer. This happened twice. On top of this, the free text questions do not show the question you are answering and so if you don't write it down/copy and paste the question, you do not know what you are trying to answer. When marking others scores, there seem to be a lot of mistakes, people answering the question incorrectly, the wrong question or its illegible. This has made me dread the tests and I am unsure whether to continue with the other courses or choose a competitor. Additionally, the production value isn't amazing as it's clear that sections have been filmed at different times and spliced together, and visual resources are used but not explained in both a conceptual and specific way and aren't zoomed in on or attached, making them difficult to see on the screen.

Theres some good information, but parsing through a majority of this is difficult. There is very little supporting documentation to study, a link in one of the quizes, necessary to the answer, didnt exist. Some of the questions are worded in such confusing ways. The structure is rough, especially with the nuace of the topics. Oftentimes, I'm essentially writing an entire script of the video as notes to ensure I dont miss anything, then get a question that seems impossible to answer because either it was seemingly just a side note, or it wasnt mentioned at all. Important vocabulary, or its adjecent usage, are breezed over in turn making no sense in quzzing. I'm no stranger to competitive analysis, user journeys, etc - and this is wildly confusing. I'm dissapointed.

As an instructional designer, I felt that the assessments were poorly constructed and questioning was confusing. Often questions were asked that were not clearly explained in the reading material. The peer reviewed items were also confusing. Often the peer reviewed assignments were not aligned to the material we were taught. I noticed that the questions we were to grade people on were not items that were clearly listed in the requirements. I had to grade a lot of people down because they were confused about the requirements.

I've taken several courses on Coursera, and I have to say the ones by Google use excellent course design, structure, and assessment.

My expectations were high, but the truth is that I'm a bit disappointed with this course.

The information are given too vaguely. It made me so confused along the topics!

Texts are not well formatted, what difficults the reading.

The videos have so low quality that in many of them we can not see clearly the information on charts, tables and etc. If at least these resources were offered to be downloaded...

The lessons don't give enough content to answer the questions been very sure.

Quiz questions are nonsensical and are unrelated to reading materials. The assignments are thrown out by peer reviewers for having links in them (when teacher requested assignments to be made on external sites). Very difficult to actually practice and apply learnings due to lack of quality in quizzes and assignments .

The tests are very wordy, confusing and lack clarity. The videos are just talking with no real structure, few diagrams to explain concepts. More of a mangement consultants overview of product management. The IBM profession certificate is much more thourough with examples from experts from a variety of disciplines

The reason that I don't feel like completing this course is the instructor. She is reading out the content and pauses after every sentence. I am not sure why would Amazon hire an instructor like this for this course. Very disappointed

Nancy just reads from the transcripts or from the document and does not explain properly the nuance of the topics. I would not recommend this course to anyone

I would not call this a beginner-level course. You have to have basic business and management knowledge in order to complete assignments.
